ORLANDO, Fla. – Bio-Tech Consulting Inc., a full-service environmental consulting firm headquartered in Orlando, Fla. and serving clients throughout Florida and the Southeastern United States, recently announced that it will provide environmental consulting services to All Aboard Florida – Operations LLC (AAF) to assist with environmental assessments, permitting, wildlife studies, mitigation and planning needs. AAF is the developer of the country’s first privately owned, operated and maintained intercity passenger rail system that will connect South and Central Florida.

As part of the All Aboard Florida project, Bio-Tech Consulting will provide environmental assessments, wildlife studies, mitigation, project management and permitting services as required to ensure the continuation and stability of natural habitats along the rail route. According to AAF, the new route will provide passenger service along the existing rail corridor operated by Florida East Coast Railway, L.L.C. (FEC corridor) between Miami and the Space Coast with the creation of new tracks into Central Florida. Restoring passenger rail service in the FEC corridor will minimize potential environmental impacts resulting from construction since it will occur in the dedicated and privately owned right of way.
