
Steve is Vice President of Environmental Services at Bio-Tech Consulting, bringing more than 32 years of professional environmental consulting experience, including 15 years with the company. His expertise encompasses project management, client relations, environmental permitting, feasibility studies, site analysis, and navigating complex regulatory requirements across the Southeastern United States.
Mr. Butler has extensive experience in mitigation monitoring, endangered and threatened species surveys, gopher tortoise relocation, wetland delineations, and environmental permitting. His project management background includes comprehensive proposal generation and leading on-site inspections with diverse regulatory agencies like WMDs, FDEP, ACOE, and USFWS. Drawing on more than 15 years as Vice President at a previous environmental consulting firm, he possesses deep familiarity with agency processes and comprehensive permitting requirements.
As Vice President of Environmental Services, Mr. Butler’s responsibilities include project management, client relations, and securing environmental permits. He provides critical environmental assistance to engineers, developers, and property owners for various development projects throughout Florida and the Southeastern United States. His technical capabilities extend to feasibility studies, complete site analysis, report writing, and responding to Requests for Additional Information (RAI) and Developments of Regional Impact (DRI) inquiries.
